James Jerky Dryer
« on: March 06, 2013, 12:42:21 PM »
Hey, has anyone purchased the James Jerky Dryer from smokin-it.com yet?

http://www.smokin-it.com/product_p/jjd-1.htm

I've been wanting to do some jerky in my smoker for a while, and I'm wondering if anyone has used this little guy yet.

Thanks!

I will. The problem I'm having is getting the meat. I have now bought 2 arm roasts and let them sit next thing I come back and my sons have seasoned it and put them in the smoker. We are fighting who gets to use the smoker next so its been first come first serve. lol

Cool, thanks.

Did the jerky dryer come with basic instructions on how to use, what kinds of meats, etc.?

Yes!  I used mine for the first time this weekend, and just sat it right on top of the two Auber probe wires.  No problem!
