Just ordered my #2 and a thermopro tp20, will be cooking ribs next weekend. Thanks for all of the help in my decision. Mark

Received it today, put it together, cleaned it, and started the seasoning, can't wait to put the meat in it.

You'll love this smoker. Get your ribs dialed in, and then try some homemade bacon. Unbelievable....

Congrats on your purchase. Question for you, with the t20 do you just use the vent hole to run the wires? Or out the door? I have a t20 that I use on my oaklahoma joe but I run them out the door. Thanks in advance for your input.

On the electrics, run your temp wire through the vent hole. Crimping them in the door will shorten their life.

Thanks for your reply David, I did not use the probe when cooking the ribs, but we have a pork loin that we will put in the brine tomorrow and in the smoker on Thursday.
