I use a much lower airflow fan, "AC Infinity AXIAL 8038" which is only 23 CFM instead of the 110 CFM you used. I like it because it is so quiet I have to look at it to see if it is running.

I don't think I'll be able to hear the fan over the sound of some good tunes as I slurp down some cold brews. If need be I'll add a speed controller, I can't picture much airflow coming through the drip hole. I think some folks open the door if they don't use a fan. With a little practice I'll know if its working.

Great idea!  Ordered the same kit you listed but added a speed controller.  Looking forward to using it.
