Title: How to smoke Jalapeños?
Post by: dan46n2 on January 29, 2022, 02:16:45 PM
I have a Model 2 with an Auber WIFI controller.  I want to smoke some jalapeños to use in brewing beer.  Any suggestions on the temp and time?  Also any recommendations on wood type?  I don't know if it matters but I'm probably going to coarsely blend them then put them in the secondary fermentor along with the beer to steep for a while....

Use the search function for peppers or maybe specifically jalapenos.  There are a lot of posts.

Maybe I'm not doing it right but searching for jalepeno brings up about 6 posts with nothing useful for me.  Just tried peppers and didn't see what I'm looking for either... I used the search field on the home page...  Theres some stuff about stuffed peppers but not smoking peppers on their own.  Seems like the stuffed peppers you want to stop when the cheese is melted, this wouldn't apply to what I'm looking for.

Start your search while you are in the Smokin-It User Forum, not in any sub forums. I get 5 pages of results searching for peppers.
