Will the standard cover fit OK on a 4D-WiFi with the smoke generator still attached to the door?

The covers are just loose enough to got on the smoker easily. Somehow I doubt it will fit over the smoke generator.

Based on my #3 and the Smokin-It cover for it, I would say it may not fit. My cover is very tight. I don't know if Smokin-It has changed designs since I bought mine several years ago.

Maybe the model 5 cover would work. I see no reason to change the door back and forth depending on when I use the cold smoke generator just to be able to cover it.

I’m not sure if you have one already or not, but coversandall.com makes great covers! And custom made, so you could send them measurements for what you are looking for. I don’t know what the cost of the cover you are looking at, but coversandall are usually around $70. I have three of these, and my dad has two. They are really good and hold up, being sunbrella material/fabric.

I have a 3DW and my cover fits fine over the smoker and Bella's cold smoke generator.

Do you leave the cold smoker attached to the door at all times? I bought the extra door predrilled and setup for the cold smoker and don’t want to be changing the door back and forth depending on if I’m hot or cold smoking.

I leave the cold smoke generator on at all times. I don’t have any problem with the cover fitting.

Awesome. Thanks. I actually bought the Model 5 cover to make sure if would fir over the cold smoker. Guess I didn’t have to from what your saying.
