Welcome, gvinson to the smok'in-it family!   I am sure that you will enjoy many happy smokes with the #3 after the seasoning process.   Lots of good information on this forum and many recipes to try out!  Cheers

Welcome to our little smokin' hot party, gvinson!  You're gonna have lots of good Q fun ahead of you!  One tip on seasoning (thanks to Pigsmoke Mike) - cover the bottom of the smoker, and lid of the smoker box, in foil while seasoning.  When you season the surfaces you cover in foil, the foil tends to stick to them when you use it to cook.  Just a suggestion; Ben (our Admin guy) may want to chime in this, since it's different from the instructions.  We've just learned this from lots of use.

Hang out here when you can, and bring lots of suggestions, recipes, questions, etc...  We're all ears and here to help!

Welcome aboard, you now have a smoking addiction. I have had my #3 since June and I have missed only one weekend. Ribs, chicken thighs, Boston butts, and brisket. Have fun and post lots of pictures.
