Drip tray lock in...
« on: October 15, 2023, 11:03:28 AM »
I know this has been mentioned but I don't always removed the drip tray. Sometimes I go two to three smokes before it is removed and cleaned. I'm not cleaning for a little bit of grease that solidify after it sets. It does have a tendency to slide out when moving it around and I wish there was something to keep it in place. Something simple like a turn lever in the front of it would work. Other than that, the smoker is excellent!

A small C clamp would work, clamped in the screw down position over the lip of the floor.  But if you live in an area that gets the occasional mouse, keeping the tray clean may help in preventing critters setting up home. From the tray they can squeeze through the drip hole and from there you have a real mess.
