Most people here use Maverick. Mine is pretty old, so I can't speak specifically as to which of the current models is best, but others on the forum can help with that. A few of us are waiting for the MEATER, as fulfillment from their Kickstarter campaign. You can preorder MEATER (and see details) from the link here, but you might want to wait to order until we've had a chance to test it out and see if it lives up to its promises. Looks like it will probably ship June/July (ignore the March 2016 date they show in their perks). You will want to get something else in meantime anyway.

I'm using a Maverick ET-733. Only had it a few weeks but seems pretty accurate.

I trust the Maverick more than my probe on the 3D because the 3D keeps giving erroneous errors. Not exactly sure what's going with that.

Maverick is easy to use and has good range too.

I have been using the maverick et-733 since I have had my smoker and it has never caused me any problems. Of course there are good alternatives out there but you would have to research your options. The maverick is all I have used and feel comfortable recommending. Good luck with your decision.

I use the Maverick 733 also. Only have had it for a few months but seems to be accurate.

I'm using the maverick 733, no complaints even in rain/snow. I was looking at the 735 when it was released, the Bluetooth connectivity vs distance/internal walls scared me away.
