Yeah, that's the proper response.  I assumed he was up to his elbows trying to get out xmas orders and didn't want to bother him with such a trivial question.  But, I will do just that.

It may not be exact, but the document on this page says the 3.5D shipping weight is 160 lbs.

Steve got back with me - 148#, which is what the shipping label indicates as well.
