Smokin-It #2 homemade cart.
« on: May 27, 2013, 04:25:30 PM »
Just thought I'd share a photo of my homemade cart for my Smokin-It 2 smoker. The large door underneath the smoker stores three nice sized Rubbermaid sealable plastic tubs that hold three different types of woods.

The drawers on the right store all other items. Aluminum foil, paper towels, aluminum water tubs, thermometers, gloves, etc. (I really like having the small space above the drawers as a work area.)

The door underneath the drawers store my 60" LCD TV. :)

I'd be more than happy to share dimensions if you're interested in building your own cart.

you will have to send me a link for a fold away 60" LCD TV. i couldn't imagine a 32" fitting in there.

Haven't heard from Grampa since this post.  Afraid this one might be a little on the cold side! :o

Might give the PM a chance, but he registered at 3:19 on May 27, and was last active at 3:37 on May 27!  A whole 18 minutes.  Hell, it takes me longer than that to post pictures!  ;D   Hope he comes back - that is a pretty nice stand!

Sorry all...I'm still here. Just haven't visited the site for a while. Obviously. :)

Thanks for all the kind words.

I would love to share the dimensions of my cart and help any one of you with your build. Give me a day or so, and I'll be right back with tons of info for you.

OK fellow smokers, I just now created a PDF document that will hopefully get you started on your smoker cart.

Unfortunately I cannot upload the PDF to this forum due to size restrictions, so I'm going to try to share a link to my DropBox account where you can download a copy of the PDF to your work station.

Please feel free to holler if you have any questions.
