Anova will have a $99 version of its popular sous vide cooker
« on: January 07, 2017, 06:22:34 PM »
It looks like there will be 3 different Anova cookers in 2017.

1) Entry-level $99
2) Mid-range (replacing current model)
3) Professional grade

I love my precision WiFi!  The stainless construction of the mid-level is worth the extra $, imo.  I wouldn't care for the professional version, as the phone app works great, and setting time & temp just takes a few seconds.  Who needs stored recipes for SV?

I'm with Tony on this one. The middle option seems like the best option for the money. I am very happy to have my WIFI version. And when given the chance for plastic vs. Stainless-Steel, I'll pay extra for Stainless-Steel every day.

+1. The middle one, which is the current version, still looks the best to me.
