NOT a good start!

Received my new 3D yesterday, assembled it today and followed instructions to a 'T' to begin the seasoning 250'/4 hour cycle as instructed...Completed:
- Power up unit
- Press set once
- set 250 in rt window
- press set
- select 't'
- POP...PID goes blank - no lights??

Changed outlets to a 20amp outlet:

- powered up unit, lights come on and 3 seconds again it goes blank?

Tried yet another outlet (tested it first with my wife's 1875 watt hairdryer) and again fails the cuircut again..

Better call Steve I guess..

All OK now. Called Steve and he walked me through some trouble shooting..we figured it was a bad element so he expressed me a replacement and that solved the problem. I have to say that Steve really came through - excellent customer service! Says a lot about his product. Now to try smoking that 5 pound pork butt I bought...

Glad it worked out, Gray!  Steve will always step-up to take care of a customer, new or old!
