RIB TICKLER on CHICKEN
« on: September 09, 2016, 03:14:39 PM »
Has anybody ever uesed RIB TICKLER? Bought 20 chicken leg quarters today to smoke and use the rib tickler.
Smoking at 250 degrees for 2 hours with 2 big chunks of hickory.
Then on the hot grill to crisp up the skin then a swim in bbq sauce.

20 leg quarters in the smoker all seasoned with rib tickler. Just received the rib tickler today in mail and have never tried it so I hope it's good.

Dang John...that's getting ME excited.  Let us know how you like the spice.  I have not tried that one.

John, I have used William's Rib Tickle quite a bit in the past. It is a decent store bought rub. Got a little sweet taste to eat. It's great on ribs and pork.

One of my local grocery stores (Harp's) carries Williams rubs.  Haven't tried them, so I'll be interested in your review!

I liked the rib tickler rub but I need to put more on next time cause I held off putting a lot on because I have never used it before.
I'm smoking pork tenderloin again tommorow and will use a lot of this rub on one of the loins.

Doug I didn't get any finished pics of chicken cause people were grabbing them as soon as I pulled them off the smoker including my self.
