Auber on new 3D time reads -H- while seasoning smoker

I just got my new 3D and I'm seasoning it right now. Went through the steps to set Co1 to 4 hours, set passed all the other settings and its holding at 250 +/-, but the time reads -H- what's that about?

Just cycled through the programming again. C01 = 250 E01 = t 4.0. Set all the others C02-C06 = t and time = 0, just to see what would happen. Still reads -H-. As i cycle through all with the set button, I never do get both windows to read temp and time, just temp 250 and time -H-

I am still getting used to the controller and it takes practice. Without having the instructions in front of me I think the H is for the meat probe do it should be t. I am trying to remember. Remember I am only guessing from memory.

The "H" means sensor error. just push the time button, and you'll see the time (counting up, not down). When you use the IT sensor, the "H" will go away and you'll get meat temp. Learned the same thing when it happened to me. If you go the Auberins website, you can get some really detailed info on the PID. You are doing it right, so finish your seasoning and have fun smoking!

Milan,  if the 2nd probe is not connected you will see the "H" icon, since you were seasoning the smoker there would be no reason to use the meat probe..
All normal.
