Another useful way to use the Anova!
« on: March 17, 2016, 04:56:59 PM »
I really like this tool, this is perfect to maintain perfect temp while making cheese 8), excuse the clamps, I still need to find a better way to prevent the 1/2 pan from floating! works fine tho!

What kind of cheese are you making, Bob?  Funny you should post this...I've been watching some mozzarella cheese videos this week!

It is also great for making yogurt. I make mine in mason jars in the water bath.

I'd like to try all of those. Got any good links or advice for mozzarella using the Anova?

Really easy to make mozz Kari, just follow the recipe and instead of using the oven, you setup something like in my pic in the op and just set the temp.... This is where I get all my cheese making supply....   http://www.leeners.com/cheese/store/

and the half pan and cambro from webstaurant.com....

and the place that got me on track...
