Brine with bottled water?

I just noticed in Alton Brown's brine recipe he calls for bottled water. Anybody with experience on this?

I would only bother with this if you have really bad tap water.

Smokin-It #3 (purchased in 2014) that replaced a Masterbuilt XL (ugh) and a 10+ Year-Old Big Chief (still used for fish), and few others over the years, along with variety of Weber Gas/Charcoal Grills, Anova Sous Vide, etc. devices.

I agree with Gregg. No reason, other than that. Or, unless you are a hoity-toity TV cook, then it's the thing to do.
