Chicken smoke
« on: December 05, 2015, 06:24:23 PM »
Got two birds stuffed with granny smiths, carrots, vidalias, and some rosemary. A slightly spicy homemade rub with butter smeared under the skin. I also opted to throw the hearts in, never tried before, so why not.
 235℉ for 4.75hrs
Made some roasted garlic to spread on some bread as well. Thanks for looking, I'll drop some more pics in a bit..

Hearts should be delicious! Shouldn't hurt to leave them in for the entire smoke.

The hearts turned out great, I ate those almost as soon as I opened the door. It seems to be a hit in the house, the birds turned out pretty good.
