What I do with leftover brisket...
« on: August 07, 2015, 07:46:10 PM »
When I made my 13lb brisket last weekend, I had 1lb, 6oz leftover once the vultures cleared the kitchen.  1 lb went into my favorite chili recipe, and the 6oz was reserved for later use in burgers....  Tonight was that night.

Very simple.

1# ground beef
Handful of leftover brisket
Small onion, chopped
2 jalapeño chopped
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2tsp minced garlic
Salt & pepper

Mix all of that together and form into patties. Then cook them.

I like to top mine with cheese, grilled onions and jalapeño, as well as a couple Bhut Jolokia pickles. Pair with a cold beer, and you're good to go.
