ThermoPop
« on: May 30, 2015, 11:07:13 AM »
I just received my new ThermoPop instant read thermometer from Thermoworks. Just curious, has anybody ever used one of these? I already have a remote probe Maverick thermometer but I was looking for a good reliable instant read thermometer and a friend of mine suggested I get a Thermapen from Thermoworks. I could not justify spending $96 for a thermometer. Thermoworks offers the ThermoPop's for $29 with similar features: rotating display, left and right-handed use, super-Fast® 5 to 6 seconds, splash-proof design, big back lit digits, temp range: -58 to 572°F (-50 to 300°C), switchable °C/°F, and 9 colors.

Jimmy,

I bought a few for Xmas presents last year and everyone was happy. I have the Thermapen, it is pricy but it reads in about 2-3 seconds.

I love mine, I also could not justify the extra money for a therma pen. In a comparison my Pop was faster than one of the cooks pens.

I have the thermopen for years. If the pop is as good you have a winner. Thermoworks makes great products.
