Which rack for the famous 5hr no peek

Which rack, I normally use the middle one, will that rack be too hot?    Will set temp at 235

Hey Joe, I would place them on the top rack since the heat is most stable at the top of the smoker.  The second from the top will also do, but my first choice would be the top shelf.

Thanks, I haven't mapped the temp at each level, I was thinking 2nd rack, I'll post how they come out.

Always go as high as possible.

Ditto.  Always go as high as possible.  If you have different thicknesses, over multiple racks, put the thinner cuts on top, and the thicker cuts below (closer to the heat).  Works well for me.

I either use slot 2 or 3 on my #3.
