Divot is totally on there. We are all glad to answer any questions you might have about these units. You really can't go wrong with them. Even adding in an Auber is still way lower than the others out there.

Thanks for the welcome. I've done some research I look at the Cookshack way too much money for me. The SI is half the money and the quality seems to be just as good. I am also thinking about adding the Auber. But I may do that at another time.

Yup, I still haven't added the PID but it still smokes just fine as is. Plenty of guys on here do that every day. Just pick up a Maverick ET732/ET733 and you will be off and running.

Good start, Andre.  Yes, the CS is a great unit, but I also didn't go that route due to cost.  I find the SI every bit as well-made, and the pricing speaks for itself.  Plus, lots of good things on the horizon for SI!  As Bachman Turner Overdrive said it best - "You ain't seen nothin' yet!"   I think I just dated myself... ???
