Title: New Year’s Eve dinner
Post by: barelfly on December 31, 2017, 09:36:14 PM
Not smoked but done on the kettle grill with my new slow n sear. These ribeyes were the best flavored steaks I have ever had, and that’s with the overall temp a bit too done for my liking. The portobello mushrooms were excellent as well.

I got made fun of a bit for having to cook by headlamp, but when I got to enjoy a beautiful afternoon it’s ok.

Happy new Year’s everyone!,

Nice looking steak. We had baked oyster for New Years eve and I will be smoking a Piggy Prime rib to serve with greens, cornbread and black eyed pea risotto for today. Happy New Year!

Smoked a couple racks of ribs along with sides of pinto beans, potato salad and coleslaw. Then divided it all up and surprised shared with two neighborhood families.
