Title: Probe

Have never been real happy with the Auber and the temperature swing.  For some reason I was not able to get the auto tune down. I installed the permanent probe this week and followed the directions on the website to auto tune.  Smoked some chicken breast yesterday.  Set the temp at 225 and for two hours the temp never varied from 224 -226.  Love it.

Good job, Cat!  The Auber, without a fixed probe, is just not capable of living up to its potential.  Once tuned, it just stays where you put it!  It's really amazing how much variation the drop in probe can cause.  I played with that a lot, before going to the permanent probe, and never could get it right.
