This was a request from my son for Labor Day 2015. I got the recipe here: http://www.smoking-meat.com/may-21-2015-smoked-bacon-wrapped-hot-links-memorial-day I used Hebrew National Reduced Fat Beef Franks and a mix of Pecan & Cherry woods.

Suzie,
I saw this on Jeff's site and thought it looked great, but have not had a chance to try this in the smoker.
The dogs look great!

Those look good ... something I think my kids would like!

Looks really good. Nice job!

Hey Suzie, Everything is better with bacon, dogs look really good.
-
Mmmmmmmmm yep!
-
Did you eat them off the stick or bun them?
-
You had me at Bacon! ;) ;D ;D

I think the sticks are there to facilitate easy spin application of bacon and cooking handles. We just held the hot dog lightly in the bun, gave a little twist to the skewer and it released easily for a normal, but extra delicious, hot dog. Sorry, could not stop to take a picture because...taste buds could not wait!

The picture made me think of some carnival food. While it is still on the stick, a cornmeal batter dip and a minute in the deep fryer has my mouth watering.

Whoa! You did, in fact, just invent the "perfect" corn dog! ;D That would go great with the BBQ Boys bacon-wrapped onion rings!!

Great minds work in pairs.
