Wife told me she was hungry and wanted something grilled since it was nice outside, I decided to do the whole thing outside on the Weber gasser.
NY steak, grilled buttered sweet onion, foiled brown sugar squash and foiled asparagus with cracked pepper and sea salt. My plating and photography may be weak (we're usually in too much of a hurry to spend time farting around) but supper was delicious.

Looks Great! No need to foil the asparagus it will grill while the steaks rest. We use olive oil salt and pepper. You can skewer them into "rafts" or just be careful to keep them opposite the openings in your grates.

I usually screw them up when I do that mainly because I have a hard time telling when they are done (I'm also incapable of properly cooking a pancake). With tight folds the foil packet will puff up like a balloon as soon as the asparagus is done, easy like a turkey timer.

I try to get some color on them from the grilling it adds to the flavor. I found that like mushrooms it is best to pull them at the point you think "These are almost done" the carry over cooking will finish them.
