On my old smoker, I installed a piece of thread-all across the inside top of the smoker to hang my birds from while smoking. Have any of you used the sausage rod to hang your birds?

Not in my SI but the best whole turkey I have done was hung breast down fro the top of a Bradley. Hanging like that all the juice pooled in the breast, not the cavity.
