While making jerky the other day, I thought to myself "It sure would be nice if I could put the James Jerky Dryer in place at the beginning of the process, plug it into the smoker plug on the back of the Auber and have it kick on at the proper time." I knew how to program the smoker outlet to turn on when I wanted it to, the problem was I couldn't plug the jerky dryer into the outlet. Problem solved. A C14 to 5-15R adapter cord. C14 is the plug type on the back of the Auber. 5-15R is just a standard 3 prong plug. This cord is designed to allow you to plug your computer screen into the back of your computer, so if you have a good computer store in your area, they may have one. Now I'm going to have to make more jerky to test it out. ::)

I got mine online, since there are no good computer stores near me. As you can see from the photo, it's a Tripp Lite brand, model P002-001-10A. BTW, I can't really take too much credit. Auber offers a cord on their web site, and they also mention there, that a computer cord will work.
