Blind luck,
Congratulations on the purchase.  It is a great smoker. When you have the time use the Introduction section and give us a first name  and maybe tell us a little about yourself.  We are all family here.

Man, I sure am pleased, first smoke beef ribs and chicken thighs. Perfect. Two chunks of hickory best smoke flavor I've done yet.

Love to hear that it's working out for you...  not that there was a lot of risk involved from my perspective.  :)  I might have passed through you neighborhood once about a year ago.  My daughter and I flew into Seattle and then drove to Central Washington University so she could check it out.  It was interesting getting back to the airport as it snowed overnight.  I was in a rental car and it would seem they don't automatically equip them with chains.  I ended up driving back slowly through the snow without chains even though the signs were indicating they were required.  Fortunately, I've had a lot of experience driving in snow and so it really wasn't ever remotely difficult, but I am glad that I didn't end up stuck... I suspect there would have been a nasty fine involved.
