Cold Smoking Plate

I am interested in smoking homemade sausage the model 4. My question is for my drying process of the hanging links(130 degrees or so), will I need a cold smoking plate. Also is their one being offered for this model.

You won't need the cold smoke plate for 130.  The Auber should maintain that temp without a problem.  The cold smoke plate keeps the box cool (< 70 degrees), which is great for cheese or anything you don't want cooked - just smoked.
