I am getting a 2D smoker and would like to get the length between the legs, I want to mount it on an old tool box. There is no info on how far apart the legs are. My toolbox is 18" deep and I want it to obviously fit. I like the stand they sell, but I can't afford it and a toolbox is so much more practical and paid for. I Look forward to this site, I am not new to smoking, and am excited to use my new smoker, I could never tell my wife that I was excited to use a smoker, but here it is OK.

First, welcome to the forum from SE Arizona. As for the spacing of the legs, side to side, front to back, you will need to wait for an owner of a 2D to chime in. In the mean time, why not visit the introduction section and share a little background and maybe a name.   Again, welcome.

Dimensions of my 2D legs are (from outside to outside):
15" front to back
17"side to side
