Just got my #1

Greetings from Kentucky,
Just got my SI #1 yesterday and seasoned it last night. I have wanted to get into smoking for sometime now but didn't want to spend a ton of money on something that I may not truely love. After searching the web and reading a ton of reviews I decided to pull the pin on a smokin it smoker. Plan on prepping ribs for a smoke on Friday. Looking forward to having a great summer.

Smokin-It #3 (purchased in 2014) that replaced a Masterbuilt XL (ugh) and a 10+ Year-Old Big Chief (still used for fish), and few others over the years, along with variety of Weber Gas/Charcoal Grills, Anova Sous Vide, etc. devices.

Be an active poster, when it doubt ask a question.  I like you wanted to smoke, bought a #3 and have been smoking almost every weekend for a year.  It's fun.

Try the no peeky ribs.  5 hours no peeky,  Divots aka the Mod's favorite.
