New, soon to be Model 1 owner
« on: September 23, 2019, 07:05:21 PM »
Hello fellow smoking enthusiasts! Chris here from small town Winnsboro South Carolina. Long time fan of smoking, grilling, dutch ovens, etc... My beloved Bradley original just died. No complaints with the Bradley except the fact that it did in fact die and it has been repaired several times. Proprietary pucks were my biggest peeve but all in all, made some glorious Q in it and got my money's worth! Anyway, the death of my beloved smoker sent me down the rabbit hole of what to replace it with. No nonsense, solidly built and built to last were the main criteria. I think I've found it in this beast. Thankfully, my wife agreed. We looked at numerous products and the bulk appeared cheap. We both wanted to buy something for the long haul. Hope this is the one! Looking forward to giving her a whirl!

Congratulations.  I've been looking a long time for a used #1 to buy for camping. My #3 is too big to haul around :)
