Smoked Chicken and Dumplings

Sorry for not more pics.

Smoke 15 legs at 250 for an hour.  Finish on grill to temp

Eat and pull leftovers/pick for day after.



Day after


1/2 onion
garlic
1 can condensed chicken soup
1/2 can water
1/2 can milk
1 can chicken stock
1 cup frozen veggies
Light salt and pepper (biscuits will have salt!)
Bring to slow boil




One small can of buttermilk biscuits, we used 5 out of a 10 pack from food lion.

Flour, press out by hand or roller, cut in 1/4's

Add to the rest at low boil, 10 to 15 mins all done.

They get puffy and nice.  Easy and a great family smoked recipe.


The picture is of the biscuits 1/4 erd before going in pot.
