Title: Sangria Red/White Skip the high sugar mixes, this is great!

Sangria Red/White

Red Sangria Ingredients:
•   2 Bottles Merlot (6 cups)
•   2 c apple juice
•   ¼ c Triple Sec (optional)
•   1 Large Orange (wash, peal & slice thin and then cut in half)
•   1 Large Apple (wash, core & cut into small pieces)
•   1 Lime (wash, slice thin and then cut in half)
•   1 Cinnamon stick whole

PREPARATION:
Mix all ingredients into large picture, chill for at least 2 hours, overnight is better.

You can also use other fruit like: peaches, pears, strawberries, grapes.
For a lighter summer drink, add 1-2 cans diet 7UP or ½ bottle Riesling white wine.

White Sangria Ingredients:
•   2 Bottles Chardonnay (6 cups)
•   2 c apple juice
•   1 Large Orange (wash, peal & slice thin and then cut in half)
•   1 Large Apple (wash, core & cut into small pieces)
•   1 Lime (wash, slice thin and then cut in half)
•   1 11oz can Mandarin oranges with juice
•   1 20 oz can chunk pineapple
•   1 Cinnamon stick whole
•   1 small bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine (optional)

PREPARATION:
Mix all ingredients into large picture, chill for at least 2 hours.  Overnight will add additional flavor to the sangria. Before serving, you can also add a small bottle of champagne or sparkling wine.

You can also use other fruit like peaches, pears, strawberries, grapes.
Also if you run out of Sangria, just add more wine, allow too sit for another hour or two and you are ready to serve.
