Hello from Petaluma
« on: March 07, 2015, 11:03:42 AM »
Mark Foreman here from Petaluma CA. on the edge of the Sonoma side of the wine country.

I've had my Smokin-it #2 since 2012 and my #3 from mid 2013. I grill with a Weber one touch kettle and for big jobs a Chargrilled Outlaw wit side fire box...wife just shakes her head but never complains. I love to cook and prefer barbecuing over grilling.

I use my #2 and #3 for smoked fish, jerky, cheese, ribs, brisket, pork., and for smoking home made sausage.

Mark

I have not yet worn out my #2 by am trying hard....

Welcome from Delaware, Mark!   I have been using my #2 nearly every weekend for the past 2 years and have not gotten close to wearing it out.  These guys are built super well.

Thanks all!

Here are my kids. My #2 came with a short cord, small plastic wheel (now upgraded!) and the drip pan sits on the ground below it. I really like what Steve and company has done with the design.
