Moldy smokinlicious wood
« on: May 09, 2019, 09:45:35 PM »
I just got a large box of hickory, maple, and cherry double filets from smokinlicious today.  The hickory smells musty, and has mold on it.  A card was sent along with the wood, the specific moister levels of each, and how to sanitize it if it gets moldy.

Is this normal/acceptable to get moldy wood from them?

If so, do I sanitize all the wood now, or just each piece before smoking?

Then how should I store it?

Thanks for the input
