Model 4
« on: December 06, 2015, 11:12:08 AM »
Anyone know how long the special price of $1599 will be in effect for the model 4 and how long the cover and wood chip tray will be included for free?

John,

Steve told me he thinks the current Model 4 is sold out.  But, the new model 4 will come standard with the integrated PID controller, like the model 2D & 3D.  These should arrive by the end of January.

I would wait for the 4D John. It could feel like a long wait, but I think it will be well worth it. The 4D will be pretty much unmatched in the smoking world when it comes out as far as value/price.

In the meantime, read-up. ;) There is a ton of great information here.

A little confused though.  The model 4 already came with the Auber PID.
What will be the difference between the model 4 and the new 4D?

With the 4D the Auber is integrated into the unit, whereas the #4 it is an addon piece of equipment that isn't weatherproof.

Check out the 3D pics HERE.  This is the controller that will be on the 4, standard.
