Hi all,

Just ordered a SI #3 after doing a bit of research and hearing good reviews.  I had a MES30 for a few years, which served its purpose but then died like I hear so many do....so I thought Id step it up a bit and invest in a quality product and here I am.

I smoke alot of salmon, game and pork and hoping to diversify into other things as well.  Thinking about getting the cold plate and having some fun with that.

This seems like a great site and thanks for all the posts and information.

Welcome!  You'll find this to be a pretty sweet upgrade!  Look forward to having you here; let us know how we can help.  BTW, the cold smoke plate works very well.  Definitely worth it if you do any cold smoking.
