Auber unit failure
« on: January 05, 2022, 12:25:04 PM »
OK, got four racks of ribs in the Series 3 and started up just fine.  I programmed my unit using the phone app but after 4 minutes it went "offline" and now does not want to power up.

Any advice on how to debug/fix?

TIA, Stu

Edit: found problem, GFI plug tripped!!

GFIs can be finicky; and they can fail.  If it trips again during the smoke, raise the power cord up off the ground. Any leakage can cause the gfi to trip. After you get through the smoke, see if it trips with another heat generating appliance plugged in, preferably one of a higher amperage.  Good luck!
