Concerned over nothing!
« on: February 18, 2018, 09:32:43 PM »
I just pushed back from the table after consuming my first No.1 meal via the Fireboard and No.1...all my worries were for naught! It was so easy even a cave man..the accuracy and ease of use of both the No.1 and Fireboard app. allowed for this successful ending! I did not feel handicapped in the least with the No.1 after "stepping" down from the 2D...I have a Boston brining as we speak! I like the fact that you can change any of the Fireboard input data as you wish...even after you have started. This allows several benefits...it also keeps track of all data...if your memory can be weak at times (hint me :))this feature is very beneficial as you can go back and check what your input data was and if needed you can correct accordingly.I am finally going to start a journal to help maximize and capitalize on the idiosyncrasies of the craft of smoking. If your so interested I will keep you updated on the Fireboard both short and long term. My unit came with a ambient temp. probe in which I did not use this time due to time constraints and 2 internal meat probes...my overall impression after 1 smoke is quality!
