Bella Air Pump - Water Resistant?
« on: January 15, 2021, 04:23:19 PM »
Wondering if the Bella air pump can stand some rain.  Anyone have any experience?

I checked with Steve and he said the pump is not designed to handle rain.  He suggests placing a bucket over it.  I might add that adding a gap between the rim of the bucket and the smoker or cutting in some holes at the base to aid in air flow would be advantageous. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Old Sarge,
I'll be modifying a small plastic storage container to add some resistance to the rain.  Drilling some holes for ventilation, etc.  I've done that for my Auber and it works well.
