Suggestions on a smoking mat for seafood/burnt ends.
« on: January 08, 2016, 09:16:48 AM »
Any suggestions on a mat for seafood/burnt ends?  After seeing that a seafood rack will be more than $40.00 with shipping, seems like mats will be a much better option...

What will work best with a #2?

Thanks.

A few folks are using inexpensive cookie cooling racks.

I broke down and bought the SI racks, but Q-MATZ from A-MAZE-N products are a great alternative. You buy by the foot and cut them down to whatever size you want.

Frogmats, come in all sizes, or cut to fit. Basically the same product as Q-matz, so choose whichever fits your needs, and has the best price. Way better than the seafood racks. Non-stick, easy to clean/throw in the dishwasher.
