Pork Belly Burnt Ends
« on: December 27, 2018, 02:24:39 PM »
I did a search and could not find it. I was curious if someone has a good recipe for burnt ends so I do not have to wing it.

I am getting 4 lbs of pork belly from a local butcher.
I am thinking my rib rub, brown sugar, honey, and bbq sauce.

I was going to cut into 1" cubes
Rub them down and smoke them for 4 hrs at 225" (Saw this in most recipes) Looking for advice on a #3
Pull them out and put them in a aluminum pan
Put more rub, butter, sugar, honey and bbq sauce in the pan and put them back in for about an hour at 200 (my guess)

Put them in a pan with a tooth pick in each
And serve.

about 15-20 people are going to be at this party. It is for the home brew club and everyone is bringing a snack for people to sample on.

Am I close or way off or do you have something proven.

Thanks in advance. The party is tomorrow night. My pork belly is being carved now. at the butcher.
