Theft Prevention

I had bought a Smokin It 3D.  I am considering to store it on my deck.  Does anyone have any suggestions to how to secure it to deter theft?

You will need to anchor it down with a heavy chain welded to the smoker, probably on one of the legs; loop it through a large eye bolt anchored to your deck. Weld the nut to the eye bolt so that it cannot be spun off.  Keep in mind that your door is removable so you might want to have someone modify it so that it cannot be removed OR remove the door and store indoors.  Whatever you do, don't void your warranty.  Check with Steve.

Just hang a free sign on it and nobody will touch it.  Now if there was a for sale sign on it, it’s definitely getting stolen.  I’m kidding by the way.  You could take the wheels off and bolt it to the deck, that would slow down the would be thieves!

I had not thought about removing wheels and bolting it down.   Briliant idea (if you don't want to move it).
