Tony, you think we should add a section for brining? We seem to be having a lot of recent discussion on brining.

Ask and ye shall receive!  Great idea, Ed!  I put it in the recipe section.

I am not sure how much rub I should be putting on ribs? I got 9 pounds of baby back ribs, 3 racks and put about 2/3s of one bottle on all three under side and top side.

That doesn't sound unreasonable. I like to load my rub on pretty heavy. Otherwise it can get lost in the smoke flavor sometimes.

My wife can't eat real hot foods so I have to keep everything fairly mild. I see this has habenero in it. Is it real hot?

It has been several years since I have used this rub. But from my memory, it was really good and I don't think it was that spicy. And I do not like things that hurt me. ;) Life is too short to eat things that burn my mouth and make beads of sweat run down my head.

I know Divot uses this quite a bit still, so I am guessing he will chime in at some point.

Not unusual at all.  I use almost a full bottle for 3 racks.  That's why I buy the 6 bottle deal on Amazon!

No, not overwhelmingly hot at all.  I think it's a pretty good blend of sweet and sassy, but won't make you break out in a sweat!

I guess I will have to try some then. I think I might be able to get a bottle at Walmart to try first.
