New member here from Pensacola Florida, hoping to get me a new smoker (waiting on Steve-Big Red) to upgrade from my Cookshack sm025. Let me just say that the cookshack smoker is pretty awesome and will built and produces great results, but looking at the smokin-it smokers and reading the reviews and checking the site plus reading on what the owners are doing (especially giving back i.e. military/charities/etc) it has me feeling that its a company that I want to do business with, since I am upgrading to a bigger smoker and indoing my comparison to the cookshack smoker, smoking-it smokers seems to be well built and definitely more affordable than the cookshack smoker and with the addition of the new wifi controller, I feel it's a definite in my book!!

mocass - Welcome to the forum from SE Arizona. You will not be disappointed with a smoker from SI. You will not notice any difference in quality of build but you WILL notice a big difference in the standard features as well as the controller. A lot of smoker for the money! What model are you considering? Also, we like first names here so when you can, how about a signature with a first name. Dave

Welcome Maury! I'm not sure why Steve doesn't have the Big Red models on the site yet. Give him a call, or text him, and let him know you want one! I know he now has the controllers in stock.

Maury, Steve is finalizing the instructions, and is at the National Restaurant Association show this weekend. He hopes to get them on the site by May 28th!
