I've made this more times then I care to count and there's a reason for that... because it's awesome!

I agree, and I just yesterday bought a bag of frozen shrimp and the dressing so now I should be good to go. Looking forward to it! :D

Where might a fellow smoker find that recipe? Sure looks awesome!

This was about 1.5 lbs shrimp. Mix together 6 oz Italian dressing, 1 stick melted butter, 1 TBSp minced garlic. 1 tsp Old Bay or Cajun sessoning. Toss shrimp with sauce, transfer to a disposable aluminum pan then smoke at 225 for 1 hour. That's it!

You're shrimp sounds good, and will have to try it. What kind of wood do you use and how much of it?

I used 1 oz of hickory. Doesnt take much.

Thanks.

I used your shrimp recipe today, delicious! Used a casserole dish instead of a disposable pan...bad idea..lol

Also, be sure to leave the shells on the shrimp while smoking. It helps keep the shrimp from drying out.

I did do that. Thanks for the great recipe.
