Major Disappointment In Ribs
« on: May 23, 2020, 06:55:21 PM »
I received my smoker for Christmas and it was at my parents' house because my garage had no worthwhile electrical outlets.  So this past week an electrician buddy and I put proper electrical in the garage.  In doing so, we had to switch the breaker off in order to safely work on the current electrical and added a new electrical system

So with that work completed I knew I was doing baby backs to celebrate.  Got them all seasoned and ready to smoke.  Put them in.  Started the smoker.  Walked away to work on stuff for church tomorrow.  Came back after my timer went off...RAW. I knew immediately that I completely forgot to flip the breaker back on for the old system that was going to be my dedicated Smoker outlet.  Needless to say, I am not a pleasant person at the moment.

As the old saying goes ‘Sh*t happens.’ Crack a beer, forget the mistake, and get some meat in that smoker to enjoy
