It is "monsoon" season where I live. That means heavy rain although for the last couple of years it has been weekly rather than daily. Nevertheless the moisture brings in mosquitoes and a larger than normal dose of flies. Last year I bought a propane fogger from Home Depot having grown tired of expensive cans of spray. Tonight after dinner I walked into a small cloud of the little suckers when I went outside. Dog into the house and I fogged the yard and patio. It works very well, giving me and the pooch several hours of bug free bliss on the patio.
The fogger I bought is branded Cutter but is identical to that branded Black Flag. Just thought I would share.

I might get one of those for some of the campgrounds I go to.

I don't think you will be disappointed. There are many variants on foggers and I reckon they all do a good job.

I grew up on SE Louisiana where a truck pulled a big fogger through the neighborhood on a regular basis. All the kids would ride behind it on their bikes. I'm glad now that my mom never let me join in :)

I lived in Baton Rouge for a year when I was 15 and those would come through my apartment complex regularly.... moved back to Missouri and I swear it was a full year before a tick or chigger bit me.

Definitely have to be careful.
