I get a lot smoke and moisture on top of my smoker. So I made a chimney out of 1 1/2 in chromed sink drain and brass slip fitting.  Filed a notch in bottom for temp probes to go through. I also fold a paper towel in quarters and tear a 1 in hole in it to fit over the exhaust vent to absorb moisture. Paper towel trick works well with jerky dryer too.
